2020 Georgia Southern Logistics Roundtable, October 20

EVENT AND REGISTRATION
The Fall 2020 Roundtable will be held on Tuesday 20th October at 5:00 pm to 7:00pm. Registration this Fall is free (we value your partnership) and if you haven't as yet had the chance to register, please do so at the following link: Click Here for Employers to Register

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
5:00 -5:20:
Welcome and Overview
5:25 - 5:55: Panel Sessions with Students (You will be assigned to a group comprising 4 companies and be addressing approximately 30 students. See attached)
5:25 - 5:55: Managerial Insights Session (You will be discussing various aspects of talent development and SCM undergraduate programming. See attached)
6:00 - 7:00: Company Connect (You will be given a company-specific breakout room to engage with students that come into and out of rooms — a virtual career fair "floor". You are free to utilize that time with students in the way you deem most effective. Idea: Have a 5 minute presentation prepared that can be repeated and between each repetition you can chat and engage with students in(entering) your room. You would have gotten guidance from the Career Office on the process for setting up interviews the following day.

ZOOM PROCEDURES AND REQUIREMENTS
The event will be conducted in a virtual manner, and to do so we utilize Zoom.  Furthermore, to simulate a career fair auditorium floor experience, students will be allowed to enter and leave rooms in the third segment of the event. To do so requires that we all ensure we have updated to the most recent version of Zoom (5.3.1 or later). Important Zoom-related Notes:
• Please ensure to respond the the previous email chain (October 12th) identifying who from your company will attend which of the sessions (it impacts assignment in Zoom)
• Please ensure you sign into Zoom utilizing the email you use when registering (it impacts assignment in Zoom)  
• Key: You will be sent the Zoom link for the event in a separate email entitled "Georgia Southern Fall 2020 Logistics Roundtable Zoom Link"

TOPICS AND DISCUSSION BY SESSION
We have attached the document that identifies the questions and topics we will be discussing in each of the two discussion-based sessions: Panel Discussion with Students and the Managerial Insights Session. Hopefully, you can have company representation at both. Please see this PDF for the questions and discussion points for each.
• Key: You will be sent a brief survey asking for your feedback (10 minute response time needed) within this week. We will review the feedback together at the session.
