SEDA Celebrates 100 Years at 2025 Annual Meeting

On Jan. 15, the Savannah Economic Development Authority (SEDA) kicked off the new year with its annual meeting celebrating SEDA's 100th anniversary. SEDA Board of Directors Chairperson Kay Ford welcomed the sold-out audience of more than 1,000 attendees, and SEDA President and CEO Trip Tollison led the crowd through a series of videos showcasing the accomplishments and milestones that populate the past 100 years and the highlights of 2024 which include the acceleration from pad construction to certificate of occupancy of three tenants at the Savannah Chatham Manufacturing Center; the Savannah JDA's completion of site preparation of the Bryan County Megasite for Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) ahead of schedule and within budget; and the creation of the Regional Industry Support Enterprise (RISE), the new workforce coalition.

Tollison also introduced the star of this year's show, the founder of Fans First Entertainment and owner of the Savannah Bananas, Jesse Cole. Cole delivered an upbeat and encouraging speech inviting attendees to believe in themselves, follow their passion and take the leap. Thank you to all who attended this year's meeting and contributed to SEDA's 100 years of success thus far.
