2013 STC Scholarshp Awards

Five Georgia Southern University students were awarded a total of $10,000 in scholarship money to pursue their degrees in Logistics in Transportation at STC's Annual Scholarship Awards and Installation of the 2013/2014 Officers and Directors Luncheon at Crosswinds Golf Club on Tuesday, April 2, 2013.

The students are Camden Batchelor, Andrea Garay, Adrienne Glover, Aaron McLeod and Wesley Peebles.

Dr.Karl Manrodt, Professor of Marketing and Logistics was guest speaker.

Following the scholarshp awards, Billy Robinson of Port City Logistics installed the 2013/2014 Officers and Directors of The Savannah Traffic Club.

Newly installed officers are: Jed Young of PCL, President; Robert Dowd of PCL, 1st Vice President; Chris Goodman of Ardry Trading Co,, 2nd Vice President; Sarah Thomas, Secretary-Treasurer; David "Fish" Mihuta of Freightliner of Savannah, Parliamentarian.

Directors of STC installed were: Bridget Caldwell of Carmichael International Services, Paul Gigis of B.T.T., Inc., Deborah Nelson of Carmichael International Services, Susan Lyles of Pier I Imports, Charlie Porter of CLG, Inc., Billy Robinson of PCL, Rob Rowe of B-H Transfer, Susan Salem of TXN Intermodal, Rickey Stille of ASF Logistics, Michael Sullivan of The Sullivan Group, Terry Thompson of Crescent Towing Company and Brad Young of Ester-Express, Inc.
